We produce tours & other events via our sister organisation, “Grand Events”. During the past 6 years, we have put on events to support UK and international artists. We have also mentored folks and even helped Robin Evans break the Guinness World Record for Marathon Ukulele Playing!

2018 Tours
We supported Andrew & Jay Molina and Peter Luongo in post-festival tours.
We are committed to helping our artists be seen by the widest possible audiences so these tours took place in the days and weeks immediately surrounding our festival.

America's 'Ukulele Sweethearts, Sarah Maisel & Craig Chee Toured the UK in Autumn, 2017!
World-renowned for their skilled, engaging and fun performances, Sarah Maisel & Craig Chee it’s no surprise that they are often referred to as the world’s greatest ukulele duo! They’re touring the UK from mid-October to early-November, 2017. We have it on good authority that (owing to being in such high demand around the world) this will be their last trip to the UK for a while so don’t miss your chance to see them.
In partnership with Grand Events, we help make UK tours possible for the world's leading talent.
2017 Tours
Festival-Related Tours
We are committed to helping our performers reach the widest possible audiences. We are also keen to support other festivals and events by helping our headline acts tour.
As a part of our 2017 Festival, we supported acts in doing a few extra gigs and worked with Katy Vernon and the Ukulele Festival of Great Britain to help her tour and perform at their festival and ours.
Sarah Maisel & Craig Chee’s Return to the UK in Autumn 2017
In October, 2017, Sarah Maisel & Craig Chee will tour the UK for a bit more than a fortnight. We’ll update this page (and share info on our mailing list, Facebook Page and via Twitter) as things come together.
Sarah Maisel & Craig Chee
We’ve been working with Sarah & Craig for over a year to plan another tour for them. We love their laid-back, playful and skilled performances and thought it’d be a lovely way to settle into the Autumn.
In late October & early November, Sarah & Craig are returning to the UK. We are properly excited to work with Southern Ukulele Store, Oxford Ukes & others on this tour!

Festival-Related Touring

2016 Tours
We supported The Flea Bitten Dawgs and Quiet American in touring during 2016.
We are committed to helping our artists be seen by the widest possible audiences so these tours took place in the days and weeks immediately surrounding our festival.
The Flea Bitten Dawgs
For the first time ever, The Flea Bitten Dawgs are touring Europe!

The Quiet American
Returning after a triumphant tour in 2015, The Quiet American are touring England!

We brought Jake Shimabukuro to the UK for his first ever tour!
In September of 2015 we brought Jake Shimabukuro to the country to play (his first ever) concerts in Liverpool, London, Leeds and Bath. There’s more info here: http://www.grandnorthernevents.com/jake-shimabukuro-first-ever-uk-tour/
We also brought Mike Hind to the country for the first of his many tours
In late February and early March, 2015 we put together a UK tour for Mike Hind (aka Uncle Elvis). Though he’d not headlined at GNUF before (or even played in the country before) we just knew he was worth the effort. His performances are always great fun and it turns out our suspicions were correct… he really is the kind of (talented, kind, great fun) artist that it worth working with whenever the opportunity arises.
We liked him so much that we invited him back later in the year to take part in GNUF 2015 and we helped a bit with his second UK tour (sending him up to Newcastle and down to Rutland).
Manitoba Hal
“Astonishing talent” – “Hal was on fire!” – “Please, bring him back again!”
In 2014, we brought Manitoba Hal’s over for our first GNUF ON TOUR series. His UK Tour was a great success.
From late May to mid-June, 2014, Canada’s greatest ukulele bluesman, Manitoba Hal, came to the UK for a country-wide tour. He visited the Hebden Bridge Blues Festival and Muse Music in Hebden Bridge, Southern Ukulele Store, Tricity Vogue’s Ukulele Cabaret at Lincoln Lounge, at the Belper Arts Festival. Hal also appeared at ukulele clubs & groupings around the country. Hal himself also contributed to a Facebook page for the tour.
Del Rey
After her visit to our 2014 Festival, we sponsored a European tour for Del Rey. We sent her to a few ukulele clubs and groups around the country and put on a show with Phil Doleman & Adam Franklin at the legendary Trades Club in Hebden Bridge.
As she plays both ukulele and guitar, she did a much bigger tour (taking in stops in Italy, Belgium & the Netherlands as well). For this tour, we worked with Del to plan the club dates (and we put on the final date in Hebden Bridge) and we supported her in getting other dates.
